quick trip to the allotment
today i popped to the allotment briefly and managed to open the lock…. but didnt shut it behind me for fear of getting locked in ;-)  I wanted to see what damage the wind had done.  We have had terrible gales this week… and so it was that all the black membrane so loving put down on christmas eve now lay strewn around with gay abandon, held in place by one or two pegs… oh dear! ...

allotment out of bounds.....
sadly the lock to the allotments is out of order, someone got locked in a couple of days ago…. oops…. so until a new lock is put in we are all advised to stay away.  very frustrating. so instead - today i did some clearing up of dead leaves etc in my own garden - and a soggy muddy mess it was too!
